Thank you, boss, for accepting my suggestion! I suggest that you avoid using your hands to serve customers food with spoons and forks, for hygiene reasons.

Found this "economy mix rice" shop by chance. Occasionally patronised the nearby Cheng Garden Avenue Food court for lunch & dinner. But not much choice during lunch till I found this shop. Open for lunch only. They have around 30 variety of dishes to choose from. Veges to meat, curry chicken, sweet sour pork, braised pork, etc. Like typical economy rice shop, they offer free flow of Chinese tea / H20 plus free soup as well. At least you save RM0.50-RM1.00 for the drinks. Price wise, value for money. Food wise, overall delicious and suitable to my taste bud. This is the place that I will go regularly for lunch when I m not cooking. Definitely a go-to "Economy Rice" shop in Cheng area, Melaka. Give it a try today whether you are a local or visiting Melaka... May God bless you richly in all things!

A Chinese outlet for brunch and lunch. What is fascinating is the variety of food spread. It was overwhelming. If someone goes every day for a while, they will still have new items to try out. Very impressive. The only thing is tea and coffee are not there, which can be added. Vege options are available. It's self-service and pay first before you eat. Ambience is OK if you want to have your meal and move on. Payment can be made by QR or cash. Very, very economical. Parking slots near the place is not a concern.

RM5 mixed rice with 2 dishes? Exactly what I had in mind. . As a small eater, I love meals that are less but cheaper. This place hits the mark perfectly. . Will I come again? Always. . Recommend to friends? Yes—if you love mix rice as much as I do. . . Follow for pocket-friendly bites that don’t skimp on flavour. JSE@20260214 . I always come here when I’m craving budget-friendly mixed rice. . You can load up your plate however you like, and if you dine in, there’s free-flow Chinese tea and soup. . I usually tapau and enjoy it at home. The bitter gourd isn’t bitter at all, the long beans have a perfect crunch, and the ayam masak merah — not too spicy — has a nice sweet-spicy balance that lifts the mood on rough days. . Solid comfort food without burning your wallet. . They also sell guava — RM10 a pack — and I somehow always end up bringing one home. . . JSE@20240217
